FINE FRAGRANCE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

In context of the company’s strategy execution guided by our core values of responsibility, partnership, quality and creativity we are currently seeking a Fine Fragrance Business Development Manager.​

As a key member of our global sales team and a part of our cross-disciplinary fine fragrance unit, the Fine Fragrance Business Development Manager will focus on international accounts within the prestige and niche market segments. He/she will manage existing customers and acquire new customers within this strategically relevant product category.

We are looking for an experienced, lifestyle person who is able to identify promising business opportunities and manage them successfully and profitably.
YOUR TASKS

Manage customer relationships and coordinate with specifically defined, new and existing fine fragrance prestige and niche customers while identifying and acquiring potential new brands and customers in alignment with the given sales strategy.

Lead projects and coordinate with the newly established cross-disciplinary internal team focused on prestige and niche fine fragrance accounts, working closely with team members from Fragrance Design, Marketing and Perfumery.

Represent LUZI as a creative fragrance house at relevant institutions of industry organizations, including key stakeholders.

Facilitate continuous information exchange within the cross-disciplinary fine fragrance team, as well as with business and sales management and all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Drive business development by evaluating and validating new leads, initiatives and opportunities.

Assess market information and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.

Develop customized product solutions that align with customer, market and consumer needs.

Conduct regular on-site customer visits, incl. reporting, follow-up/post-processing of projects, quotations and test results.

Develop and implement a targeted commercial strategy, define corresponding action plans and plan the sales budget.

Take responsibility for monitoring and reporting key business metrics (e.g., pricing, budget, margins, payment targets).
WHAT WE EXPECT

A university degree in Business Administration / Management or a completed commercial apprenticeship with appropriate further education and training.

A minimum of five years of professional work experience in international sales, ideally within the perfumery industry.

Enthusiasm for fragrances (especially niche), art, fashion, lifestyle and design.

Excellent communication skills with outstanding networking and relationship-building abilities.

Superior coordination skills, characterized by a high level of social competence, a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-focused approach, strong business acumen, a result-driven attitude, well-developed negotiating skills and assertiveness.

A reliable, precise and structured work style, combined with a high degree of flexibility and proactivity and a service-oriented attitude.

Fluency in English and German; proficiency in other languages, especially French, is an advantage.
